Responsibilities:
- Work with a cross-functional team in an Agile software development environment
- Deliver high-quality software on a frequent basis
- Interact with project stakeholders to develop and refine requirements
- Collaborate with other software professionals to design and implement software applications
- Reverse engineer and re-factor existing code for performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Act as team mentor in advanced techniques and positive team behavior
- Solid ability to inspire team productivity in a positive and supportive manner
Requirements:
- BS with MS preferred, in CS, Information Technology or other scientific/linguistic fields, or equivalent development experience
- 5+ years experience developing software in an object-oriented language like C++, Java, ActionScript 3, or Ruby
- 1+ years experience with Ruby on Rails
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and application domains
- Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Ability to develop simple; elegant solutions to complex problems
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with talented professionals
- Ability to quickly adapt to a rapidly growing software organization
- Excellent technical communication skills

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Agile software development methodology
